We snapped this boho chick in the garden

Flowery prints and earthy styles have become more and more prevalent thanks to brands like Free People and celebrity icons like Kate Hudson who are going green and supporting the environment through their clothes. However, finding the original individuals who helped fuel this trend by creating their own fashion sense is rare. Talia Duke is an original boho chick. Her gray floral print dress that she altered into a strapless is from Nordstrom, and her Birkenstock sandals that she got as a gift from her older sister add to her hippie aura. Duke looks chic with her dreads that started in May of 2007 — she does her hair herself. Her jewelry accentuates her simple cotton frock with a necklace made out of a monopoly piece, and rings from Pikes Place Market and Chico, Calif. She has done almost all of her piercings herself, except for her Monroe, which was done at House of Tattoo. She has two upside-down crosses tattooed behind her ears done at Underwood Tattoo in Seattle and two other tattoos  — an eight ball on her knee and the word “Love” on her hand she did herself. She tops off her laid back style with minimal makeup, and square rimmed black glasses from Costco. Duke looks adorable re-inventing and giving a new twist on the hippie chic trend.
