THINK AND DRINK

It's time for Tacoma to think over drinks with Broadway Center's Tacoma Free For All: Think and Drink. At 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4 upstairs in the Engine House No. 9's banquet room (611 Pine St., Tacoma), the Broadway Center joins Humanities Washington to think about "Tis the Season, Holiday Shopping and the American Consumer Culture" while drinking cocktails, wine and beer. In a nutshell, the discussion will put the season's festivities into perspective and bringing up things that make you go "hmm." Minors are allowed until 10 p.m.; free appetizers will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Visit broadwaycenter.org for details and to register for this free event.
