Guys! Take a peek out of your window right now! Unless Washington is being her usual temperamental self, that shiny orb in the sky is called the sun. And I'm pretty sure she's sticking around for a while. Or, at the very least a few consecutive days here and there, for the next few months. That said, I know you've got to be daydreaming about noshing on delectable grub and sipping on compelling concoctions while simultaneously worshiping the sun, yes? I know I am, which is precisely why I've compiled a list of fabulous patios to rest your pasty posterior while dining outdoors.

The Social Bar and Grill is hands down, one of my favorite patios in the area. Cool fire tables ablaze with a fabulous view of the boat-lined Foss Waterway and awe-inspiring peek-a-boos of the Museum of Glass' Fluent Step all pair nicely with pitchers of sangria.  1715 Dock St., Tacoma

One of the best kept secrets in Tacoma is the view from Sel's covered patio. You can sip on French Press coffee and soak in the splendor of Tacoma's Stadium District and waterfront glory. The vibe is comfortable, class with vintage-styled glassware, warm wood, moss and swank accents throughout. The menu is inspired by French cuisine for a brunch experience you won't soon forget.  229 Saint Helens Ave., Tacoma

Waterfront hot spots are a natural pick for patio dining, and Tacoma's Boathouse 19 is just off the beaten path from the obvious, Ruston Way choices. Bonus: for seafaring folks, you can sail right up to neighboring Narrows Marina and park your boat while you dine. 9001 19th St. SW, Tacoma

Rock the Dock Pub and Grill's motto is literally "Anchor up and Stay Awhile," so you know it's gonna be good. Rock has nearby moorage, ample parking and breathtaking views of the mountain and Foss Waterway. It's perfection for those seeking a fun, casual vibe. Come for a brew and the Dirty Fries and stay for karaoke, live music and more. You won't regret it. 535 Dock St., Tacoma

The Parkway Tavern may as well be the Cheers of Tacoma. It's hard not to bump into a familiar face when you indulge. I can almost guarantee, if you didn't see a friend you'll make a friend, and the Parkway delivers the goods for you and all of your hops lovin' homies. 313 North I St., Tacoma

While Black Kettle Bites and Brew might not have an impressive view, their canned beer and roasted bean concoction selection paired with a spacious patio space sets them apart from the rest. You can even grab a can of wine or sangria, kick up your heels and soak in the sun. 744 Market St., Tacoma

With picnic-styled seating, house-made brewskis and a tasty selection of bar bites, the Harmon Taproom will satiate your patio-loving wants. There are umbrellas for those seeking some shade and a hearty fire table you can cozy up to in the evenings when the chill teases in the air. The Harmon has also been known to host outdoor shenanigans like live music and jumbo-sized Jenga. 204 Saint Helens Ave., Tacoma

Olympia's Budd Bay Café features classic PNW seafood fare paired with 180-degree bay views with the Olympic Mountains and State Capitol majestically sweeping the skyline. Budd Bay Café also happens to be one of the few options that offer this view morning, noon and night. 525 Columbia St. NW, Olympia

Topside Bar and Grill's rooftop deck offers up an exquisite view of Steilacoom's charming waterfront vibe, rain or shine. Grab a burger and brew and soak in those solar rays. 215 Wilkes St., Steilacoom

Gig Harbor brunch staple, Netshed No. 9, boasts one of the largest decks around town that has served as the backdrop to many a wedding reception. The deck sits directly over the water, so the view is all ocean, with paddleboarders and kayakers drifting lazily past. A Mimosa or roasted bean concoctions complements that just about perfectly.  3313 Harborview Dr., Gig Harbor
