Oil on Glass/Feather on Wood

Lotus’ latest album Oil on Glass/Feather on Wood, a double EP, features the unique variety of sounds that have been crafted by Lotus for close to a decade.  The EP’s are a culmination of material left off of Lotus’ 2008 album Hammerstrike, and have been reworked to create the darker tracks of Oil on Glass, and the optimistic tracks of Feather on Wood.

In true Lotus style, both albums are brimming with crunchy guitar riffs and driving rhythms that make for a sound that is deeply layered without cluttering the tracks.  While the EP’s contain several new songs that have been played live only a handful of times, Lotus also includes older, more road-tested songs, like "Scrapple," "Grayrigg" and "Marisol" which have been demanding studio recordings.

Every track offers up a distinctive piece of Lotus and together they give you a completely unique Lotus album without straying from the sound Lotus is praised for.

Give Oil on Glass/Feather on Wood a good listen and you may be hooked for life.
