STRETCH YOUR LEGS for March 25

Stir crazy? Here is where you are ALLOWED to go or do

Email Article Print Article Share on Facebook Share on Reddit Share on StumbleUpon

Here are the suggestions for March 25.  Please exercise social distancing - these are all approved by the State of Washington.

Take out suggestion of the day: Boathouse 19

Great food, the BLT Salad, Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup and the Macaroni & Cheese are a couple of my favorites. For desert, the Blueberry Old Fashioned Shake is wonderful.

AD: VA rates are going lower - refi now.  Contact Becky at Prime in Lacey HERE

Bonus: Picking up your order here allows you a little time to enjoy the waters of the Puget Sound. Maybe take a walk around the massive parking lot of the Marina.

Boathouse 19, open daily noon to 7 p.m., 9001 S 19th St., Tacoma, 253.565.1919, boathouse19restaurant.com

Still swinging

The Home Course in Dupont will be open for golf, at least for today. Beyond that? They and other area courses are attempting to get clarity, but for today, game on.

They are intent on creating an environment of organized social distancing and taking steps to provide a safe environment. Including:

Extra cleaning and sanitizing.

Removing the bunker rakes.

Resetting the cups and leaving the liner 1-inch above the ground. If your ball hits the cup and stays within a club length, consider it holed.

They will no longer be renting power carts or pull carts.

Driving range will also be closed.

All tee times will need to booked and paid online.

The Golf House Grill is currently closed during this time. They will still be serving food and drinks at our turn-stand window for take-out orders or for taking on the course.
