ANNOUNCER: When Carrs came on to the scene years ago, they made their name known by serving hub-cap-sized pancakes and other mega meals to those with big appetites - or those that love a doggy bag - it takes two hands to hold.

JAKE: The selection at first glance looks to be what anyone would expect from a diner, however, as I read through the large selection on the menu, it was clear that the selections are all taken to the next level. Order your favorite omelet and it will be hand rolled, or an order of buttermilk pancakes and you'll see they are as big as your head, but also super fluffy.  In diner fashion, however, breakfast is served all day.

JASON: The quality here is good for the price and size.  They aren't four-star quality, but they are serving good, solid food.

JAKE: I love the fact that there are options here that blur the lines of breakfast and dinner.  The steak and eggs offers an 8-oz. sirloin cooked to your liking partnered with toast and hashbrowns, or you can substitute a few other sides.  Another such selection is the chicken and waffles, that adds a huge Belgian waffle with the crispiest fried chicken you will ever bite into, and as a bonus, there's a touch of honey in the seasoning.

JASON: Go early or you might have to wait - locals know and love this place.  I also love the pancakes, and if you have kids, it is both economical and necessary to split the meal.

JAKE: The burger and sandwich choices are numerous, including a BLT, grilled cheese, and of course, the club sandwich.  The Philly here leans heavy on the bell peppers, which I see as a bonus, as well as the added mushrooms, give this a little different twist than cheesesteaks I've had in the past.  The kicker, though, is that all this is piled onto a thick, toasted bun with a generous helping of thin steak.

JASON: Carrs has a casual experience with servers that are usually on top of things. Sometimes the service can be slow, especially during peak breakfast times.  They also have meeting space.

JAKE: If you've somehow managed to leave room for dessert, there is a variety to choose from as well.  The specialty is the house-made cinnamon rolls.  Made daily, they are fresh, huge and dripping with cream cheese frosting.  On second thought, get one to go, even if you didn't save room!
