GIRLS NIGHT OUT

Now that Heritage Distilling Co. has opened its second location on Gig Harbor's waterfront (3118 Harborview Dr.), the HDC Waterfront will host the Gig Harbor Waterfront Alliance Girls Night Out from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13. There will be holiday shopping specials, giveaways and more. Let's face it; booze is the best stocking stuffer.

GINGERBREAD JAMBOREE

Get ready for the Children's Museum of Tacoma's Gingerbread Jamboree. Gather with your clan and get into the spirit with this family festive event. A buffet of candies to adorn frosted cookie roofs and windows will make for a jolly good time. Sessions occur at 10 a.m., 1 and 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, then 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30. The $40 fee includes a family of four and all the house makings. Additional family members and gingerbread houses can be purchased. Preregistration is required. Get in by calling 253.627.6031, ext. 221.

PUMPKIN ALE FLOAT

Stanley and Seafort's fine-dining restaurant (115 E. 34th St., Tacoma) celebrates the autumn season with a limited-time pumpkin inspired menu - including a Pumpkin Ale Float featuring a pumpkin ale made more deliciously pumpkin with pumpkin ice cream and a homemade pumpkin caramel sauce. As if that wasn't pumpkin enough, the restaurant tops it off with a pumpkin whip and sweet pumpkin brittle. There's more where that came from, so lovers of all things pumpkin ought to get in soon.

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CHANGE

Happy Belly (1122 Market St., Tacoma) serves healthy and delicious meals, smoothies and juices from its downtown location next to the YMCA. The restaurant will take its mindset to the next level by hosting monthly nutrition and positive lifestyle change class series beginning at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19. Discussion will include food addiction, your relationship with food, how it affects your sleep and stress and clean eating. Classes are $60, or $240 for a series of six. Space is limited. Contact Integrated Dream Fitness at 517.505.0558 or Fitness One at 253.209.2662 for details and registration.
