DISTILLERY'S NIGHT

Gig Harbor's Heritage Distilling Company is invading Meconi's Pub (709 Pacific Ave., Tacoma) with drink specials, swag giveaway and more. It's your chance to meet the folks who concoct HDC's sweet, sweet nectars. Festivities occur 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 30.

STONE SOUL PICNIC

Every Friday during our brief warm weather months, Uncle Thurm's Finger Lickin' Ribs & Chicken (3709 S. G St., Tacoma) invites folks to its Stone Soul Picnic from 7:30 to 11 pm. This means live entertainment from local acts paired with delectable barbecue and Southern cuisine staples. Follow Uncle Thurm's on Facebook to stay up to date on what musicians will be joining them each week.

BEER DINNER

Bayview School of Cooking in Olympia is hosting a Sierra Nevada Brewing Dinner Saturday, May 31. A Sierra Nevada representative and two chefs will present a menu that includes brie quesadillas with bacon and beer-glazed onions, grilled chicken with a lemon-cucumber relish and Chinese sesame noodles and other dishes paired with Sierra Nevada brews such as Ovila Abbey Quad with Plums.
