ANNUAL SLOW FOOD BRUNCH

You can get the 411 on all Olympia Slow Food events and happenings at the Annual Slow Food Brunch at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 6 inside the Gem Clinic Conference Room (3435 Martin Way E., Olympia). Indulge in a splendid potluck style brunch, bring a dish and learn about the Slow Food movement and local food production from historian Drew Crooks. The event is open to all with no registration required.

WINTER INDOOR MARKET

Federal Way Commons Mall (1928 South Commons, Federal Way) hosts an indoor market from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday-Sunday. Expect produce, crafts, food and other goods. Stay warm and shop market style.

NYE DINNER

BITE Restaurant (Hotel Murano, 1320 Broadway, Tacoma) is hosting a New Year's Eve "Dinner For Two" package that includes dinner, a bottle of bubbly, party favors, valet parking and wifi.

GOING MOBILE

Big Boys Filipino Food Truck has relocated. Fear not, it only moved down the road. You may now find the delicious breakfast sandwich at 168 Stewart Road SW in the city of Pacific. Go eat there.

WESTGATE MEDITERRAEAN

My Greek and Italian Restaurant is expected to open soon in the Westgate Plaza (2303 N. Pearl St., Tacoma). Stay tuned.
