"TASTE THE ESTATE" NIGHT
Toscanos Café and Wine Bar (437 29th St. NE, Puyallup) is having a B.R. Cohn "Taste the Estate" night April 19, 6:30 p.m. B.R. EARTH DAY/FARM-TO-PLATE EVENT
Robin Hood Restaurant (6790 E. State Route 106, Union) and Highwater Farms will be hosting an Earth Day celebration and dinner April 22, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. with farm-to-plate appetizer specials ($6-$14), local wines ($4-$6 per glass). BUTCHERY CLASSES
Sea Breeze Farm and La Boucherie (17635 100 Ave. SW, Vashon) are teaching butchery classes April 17, May 1 and May 15 ($165/full day or $95/single session). Morning session 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., afternoon session 1-3 p.m.  Butcher's lunch with the staff included. For details, call 206.567.4628.

FOOD BLOGGER BAKE SALE
Bake Olympia, Food Bloggers Bake to Fight Hunger is April 27, 5-10 p.m. at the Make Olympia Street Market (100 block of Columbia Street, downtown Olympia). Olympia-area food bloggers are joining together and hosting a bake sale to raise monetary and food donations for the Thurston County Food Bank. Both cash and food donations will be valid for tickets you can exchange for baked goods.

DINING OUT FOR LIFE
The 18th Annual Dining Out for Life is April 26. Eat at one of the 70 participating South Sound restaurants and they will donate 25 percent of your food and non-alcoholic beverage bill to support HIV/AIDS prevention, advocacy and care services in Thurston and Pierce Counties. COOKING CLASS
