Corina Bakery has moved into a bigger space down the street next to The Grand Cinema at 602 S. Fawcett.

BEER TASTING

Understanding and tasting styles of beer with Doug Tiede, Great American Beer Festival award-winning brewer every Saturday in February from 1-2:30 p.m. at Morso (9014 Peacock Hill Ave., Gig Harbor). The cost is $20 a class or $75 for the series. Reserve your spot at 253.530.3463.

Barb Agee will teach a free class on potatoes and greens for St. Patrick's Day at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Thursday, March 1 at the Bayview School of Cooking (516 W. Fourth Ave., Olympia).

COOKING CLASSES

Chambers Bay's Executive Chef Dustin Joseph and his culinary team are collaborating with Pierce County Parks & Recreation to host a series of cooking and culinary classes. The classes, open to those 21 and older, are held at the Environmental Services Building at Chambers Creek Regional Park (9850 64th St. W., University Place). Joseph and his team instruct participants on various culinary skills, dishes and techniques, with each two-hour class focused on a separate facet of cooking. Space is available for the Sauces 101 class March 12 and Perfect Grilling April 16. Classes are held from 6 to 8 p.m. The cost is $50 per person or $95 per couple.
