CHOWDER DAY

Duke's celebrates International Chowder Day Thursday, Nov. 10 by giving away free chowder, all day, at all its locations.

CHILI COOK-OFF

The Key Peninsula Civic Center (17010 S. Vaughn Road KP N., Vaughn) will host a chili cook-off with prize money for first, second and third place from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12. Separate prizes may be awarded for meat, chicken, pork and vegetarian categories. Go eat some chili.

COOKING CLASS

The Bayview School of Cooking (516 W. Fourth Ave., Olympia) hosts a Thai One Dish Deal cooking class at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15. The cost is $60. Reserve your space at 360.754.1448.

WHISKEY DINNER

GINGERBREAD JAMBOREE
