Stanley & Seafort's (115 E. 34th St., Tacoma) will offer a brisket and ribs barbecue special for $17.76 Friday, July 1-Monday, July 4. Kids 12 and younger will eat free off their kid's menu during this time frame, too. In addition, they'll offer happy hour prices all day in the bar and on the patio - including $5 hot dogs and hamburger - Friday-Monday.

In celebration of its one-year anniversary, Caffe Dei (2607 Sixth Ave., Tacoma) will host a vegan barbecue party from 5-8 p.m. Friday, July 1. Throw on your flip-flops, grab a beer and a burger and kick back.

The Gig Harbor Wine and Food Festival will host 30regional wineries and breweries, as well as Bravo's Top Chef contestant Chef Kevin Gillespie of the Woodfire Grill in Atlanta, Saturday, Aug. 6 at the Harbor History Museum.
