NEW WINE BAR: A new wine bar called Pastiche will open Saturday in the second half of the former Il Fiasco space (Beyond the Bridge Café occupies the left side). The owners bring 20 years of wine experience with them to the 2715 Sixth Ave. spot, as well as tapas for lunch and dinner menu. Live music will be part of the equation.

ANNIVERSARY WEEK: The Tempest Lounge (913 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Tacoma) celebrates its fifth anniversary this week up to the big party Saturday night. Check out its $5 cocktail menu.

FESTIVUS: Minoela (604 Fawcett, Tacoma) will host a holiday wine, chocolate and coffee boutique Saturday, Dec. 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

SANDWICH AND COFFEE: Cutters Point in Gig Harbor's Uptown Shopping Center (4735 Point Fosdick Dr.) now serves Caprese, Belltown Club, Chipotle Chicken and Roasted Turkey paninis. If you buy one now through the end of the year you'll receive a free 12-ounce drip coffee.
