HAPPY ANNIVERSARY: Asado Cucina Argentina (2810 Sixth Ave., Tacoma) celebrates its fifth anniversary Thursday, Nov. 11 at 10 p.m. They will host a DJ spinning old school and Latin lounge, drink specials, $5 skewers and cake.

SUNDAY SUPPER: Toscanos Café and Wine Bar (437 29th St. NE, Puyallup) serves a three-course dinner every Sunday from 3-9:30 p.m. for $15.95 per person. They also host Cocktail Appreciation Night every Wednesday from 5-9:30 p.m. in which they let you keep the cool martini glass after you down the booze. It's a first come, first serve deal.

BREWER'S NIGHT: Farrelli's Wood Fire Pizza in Tacoma (3518 Sixth Ave.) will discount Mac & Jack's beer and throw in a DJ and raffle prizes at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov.  11.

LOBSTER: During November, Anthony's Restaurants (Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Olympia, including Harbor Lights)has lobster tails and is offering them along with guest's choice of clam chowder or fresh garden salad and basmati rice for $19.95.

BRIX DINNER: Brix 25 Restaurant (7707 Pioneer Way, Gig Harbor) will host Fielding Hills Winery for a four-course winemaker dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11. The cost is $85 person. Reserve your spot at 253.858.6626.

DOCKSIDE DINNER: Chateau St. Martin will drop in on the Dockside Bistro and Wine Bar (501 Columbia St. NW, Olympia) for a six-course wine dinner at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11. The cost is $75. Reserve your spot at 360.956.1928.

EL WINE DINNER: El Gaucho Tacoma hosts an L'Ecole Wine Dinner at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12. The cost is $75 per person. For reservations, call 253.272.1510.

SWEDISH COOKING: Chef Pelle Nilsson from San Francisco will demonstrate how to make pickled herring, Swedish meatballs and more at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14 inside the Scandinavian Cultural Center on the Pacific Lutheran University campus. Admission is free but you must RSVP at 253.535.7322.
