AFTERNOON TEA

Affairs Restaurant & Catering in University Place would like to host your afternoon tea party. Their tea menu includes cucumber sandwiches, ham and cheese filled croissants, miniature Beef Wellingtons, smoked chicken empanadas, chocolates and spices nuts, and more. WINE DINNER

Brix 25 restaurant in Gig Harbor hosts a Obelisco Estate Release Party and Dinner Friday, July 16 beginning at 4:30 p.m. Four new wines from Obelisco Estates will be introduced followed by a three-course dinner featuring Obelisco wines. SERVICE INDUSTRY NIGHT

Rock The Dock Pub (535 Dock St., Tacoma) serves $2.50 domestic drafts, $2 wells, $3 calls and $4 Jager Bombs to those with industry cards every Sunday night beginning at 7 p.m.

SUPPER ON A SHOESTRING

Johnny's Dock (1900 E. D St., Tacoma) serves charbroiled sirloin, charbroiled "Jamaica Mistake" chicken breast or filet of Northwest salmon with green salad or clam chowder, garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and New York style cheesecake for $16.95 Monday through Friday before 5:30 p.m.

TIGHTWAD TUESDAY

WINE DINNER

Ravenous Restaurant in downtown Tacoma will feature Airfield Wines from Washington for its third Monday wine tasting dinner July 19 at 6:30 p.m. Five wines will be paired with a four-course dinner. The cost is $50 a person. To reserve your spot, call 253.572.6374.

COOKING CLASS
