MARCH MADNESS CHALLENGE

If you eat two burgers and fries in 24 minutes or less at the Varsity Grill before April 6, you will receive the food for free. Drop by the sports bar at 1114 Broadway in downtown Tacoma for the challenge and its rules.

FORAGE THIS

Master forager Langdon Cook will talk about his book, "Fat of the Land: Adventures of a 21st Century Forager," at 7 p.m. inside King's Books, 218 St. Helens Ave., Tacoma.

NATIONAL CORN DOG DAY

Doyle's Public House in Tacoma will celebrate National Corn Dog Day Saturday, March 20. The Stadium District bar will offer $1 corn dogs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. They will also sell a tater tot for 5 cents a pop.

CHILI COOK-OFF

CASI, the Chili Appreciation Society International, will have a chili cook-off March 20 from 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. inside Freighthouse Square, 430 East 25th St., Tacoma.

CHEF'S TABLE WINE DINNER
