Alert: WWII 41st ID wants to party with you

The WWII 41st Infantry Division Association will be holding its 64th reunion Aug. 15-17 at the South Center Double Tree Inn. As you may recall, they are served in the South Pacific Theater after being deployed to Australia beginning in March of 1942 for jungle warfare training. They were a National Guard division originally; the first group trained at Fort Louis. The 41st ID saw action in New Guinea, Dutch East Indies, Philippines and finally Japan for occupation and disarmament.

If you were a member of this awesome group, and would like to join the reunion, contact Charlie Cripps, president of the 41st Infantry Division Association, at jdharley16@comcast.net.
