Last year we wondered (in print) whether a person could, in theory, get laid somehow by attending the annual holiday classic that is Rich Wetzel's  Groovin Higher Big Band Christmas? We deduced that by mixing the bravado (and snappy suits) of Wetzel, the always on point Groovin' Higher Jazz Orchestra, and an evening full of big band jazz classics that anything was possible - even intercourse. This year, in anticipation of Wetzel's annual Christmas show at Tacoma Community College Saturday, we're launching our public search for any "Groovin' Higher Babies" that may have been conceived during last year's festivities. We know you're out there. And, for those who just can't get enough big band action, Wednesday, Dec. 14 offers "A Big Band Christmas" featuring the Swing Reunion Orchestra at Tacoma Musical Playhouse. No guesses on whether that event can lead to procreation.
