Scrooge: The Musical is currently running at Capital Playhouse in Olympia - and will be through Dec. 30. With direction from Troy Arnold Fischer, Scrooge is easily one of the better ways to shake off the bah humbugs this season. The show promises fun for the whole family.

But even better: On Wednesday, Capital Playhouse teams up with The Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research – with all proceeds from that night's show going to help fight childhood cancer. The vent is part of Capital Playhouse's "Play It Forward" community outreach program.

"Capital Playhouse is overjoyed to support Rally Foundation," Fischer says in a press release. "Wouldn't you be happy to save even one real-life Tiny Time? Come see Scrooge and make a difference in the lives of children who need help!"
