Bobble Tiki's not sure what it means, but the country does seem to be overrun by invaders from the frigid north. Tonight Red Elvises, the world's best-known "Siberian Surf Rock" trio, hit the Swiss Pub (Bobble Tiki thought The Swiss was neutral). Now based in Los Angeles, Igor Yuzov, Oleg Bernov, and Zhenya Kolykhanov originally hail from the Russian tundra. Fashioning a raucous stage show from their classical theatrical training, traditional Russian music, and snow-melting surf and rockabilly licks, Red Elvises are sure to be one of the more memorable spectacles in town this week.
