Herman Boone has had such a powerful and inspirational life they had to get goddamn Denzel Washington to play him in the movie - Remember the Titans. Here at the Weekly Volcano, we'd be lucky to draw the guy who played Arnold Horshack in Welcome Back Kotter. Monday, Boone will be at the University of Puget Sound speaking in Schneebeck Concert Hall as part of the school's celebration of Black History Month. You may have already seen the movie, but this will be even better.
