John Lee Hooker has such an important name in the annals of blues that people will pay to see his son perform a somewhat campy version of the great genre, most of the time without much familiarity beyond his last name. (America is a beautiful place, full of possibilities.) Wednesday, John Lee Hooker Jr. returns to a Jazzbones stage he's graced before. A tireless performer, expect Hooker Jr. to have worked the crowd for everything it's worth by the time the evening's over.
