Heavy metal and Baghdad go together like, wait, what? Really, it's true. The critically acclaimed 2007 "rockumentary" Heavy Metal In Baghdad follows Acrassicauda, a heavy metal band from Iraq, as the band preservers through the Iraq war, which is happening all around them. Presented by Veterans for Peace and to be shown Tuesday at King's Books in Tacoma, according to promotions the story of Acrassicauda "echoes the unspoken hopes of an entire generation of young Iraqis."
