Peabody Waldorf Gallery

We're not out of March and already we find ourselves in need of a good purge. Enter seven piñatas of local interest, depictions of icons sadly missing from the Washington State History Museum's recent Icons exhibit. Nice, right? Even better, they're set to be auctioned off to the highest bidder - then destroyed to raise funds for seven charities. The auction runs 5-8 p.m. Thursday; you can view them beginning at noon. The beating will be March 27 at a party benefiting The Empty Bowls program.
