Fridays: Happy hour

The Hub

Email Article Print Article Share on Facebook Share on Reddit Share on StumbleUpon

A friendly neighborhood bar with good food and the all-important seven-day-a-week happy hour. Sure, it's uncomfortable to really tie one on here, but it's a good place to get started.

The scene during Friday's early happy hour - 3-6 p.m. is packed with 30- and 40-somethings in the front bar and families in the back dining room. A line starts to form around 5 p.m. and stay until after dinner. It's noisy with jazz-ish music in the background and sports on the screens.

The happy hour menu sports 10 items, all $5, including 10-inch pizzas, fish tacos, Kobe beef sliders and crab rangoons.

Karaoke kicks in at 10 p.m.
