Taking advantage of a day without rain last Sunday I opted for hiking at Little Si in North Bend. Halfway through the 5.5 mile jaunt and while pausing for a water break, I realized something spectacular. My belly doesn’t stick out anymore. My efforts with exercise and diet have truly paid off. My mind overflowed with images of what I’ll wear now. Fitted shirts, swimsuits, pants with belts. And lingerie. Now where can I get some racy, lacy, saucy little numbers for my naughty bits? For starters, I’m going to check out the lingerie fashion show Jan. 31 that’s being put on by Ondia Shapiro of The Shoe Show, F.A.T. (Fashion Association of Tacoma) and Shirley of Hollywood. The Shoe Show now sells lingerie, and what better way to get the word out about it than to hold a fashion show featuring Shirley of Hollywood corsets, push-up bras, camisoles, and bustier-garter combos.



The fashion show will be held at “Game On” Sports Grille in Tacoma. Game On may seem like an unusual location, but Shapiro assures, “It’s super nice in there … nice leather chairs.” Apparently it’s been remodeled, and the plush lower area is where the dames on display will be. Models garbed in sweet stuff from Shirley of Hollywood, Potluck Paris jewelry and knock ‘em dead heels and boots from The Shoe Show will languidly wind their way through the aisles so everyone gets a close-up. ”It's gonna be very classy and for all ages, types, styles and sizes of women”.
