Sick buster

Tai-bo round-house kicking the germs to the curb

It’s hard to be active when you’re sick.

But I’ve had an arsenal of homeopathic remedies at my disposal, thanks to friends’ recommendations and the helpful folks at Metropolitan Market.

First off, I found Airborne To Go and Airborne Jr. What with traveling and a brand new kindergarten for the kid, there were plenty of bugs that we needed to fight.

Round two of my personal Bug Wars saw me in a shivering, sweating, aching funk that nearly had me canceling a date to the Sinfonietta — but my date brought me some Boiron Oscillococcinum to try, and I perked up like a flower on fresh water after one dose of the odd little pellets of sugar.

I assumed I was miraculously cured, but the next day proved me wrong.

I ran to Metropolitan Market and grabbed my own supply, as well as the Emergen-C Light recommended by the Metro holistic health helper, since I was also complaining of a sore throat.

I’m happy to say, three days after Emergency Oscillo therapy, I felt right as rain.

But now, about that tummy.
