For 36 years, the Lacey Spring Fun Fair has stood as a beacon of community connection and joy in the heart of Lacey. With its blend of free rides, live entertainment, engaging kids' activities, diverse vendor offerings, and delectable fair food, the fair has become a beloved tradition for families and individuals alike. More than just a weekend of fun, the Fun Fair serves as a platform for local clubs, organizations, and businesses to come together and offers a free day for families. What sets this event apart is its commitment to accessibility, ensuring that everyone in the community can partake in the festivities and create lasting memories without financial barriers.

This year's Fun Fair will take place on Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday May 19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Saint Martin's University in Lacey.

The lineup of attractions includes crowd favorites like the Ballistic Swings, alongside the towering excitement of the Giant Slide and the twists and turns of the Reckless Ride. There are also plenty of bounce houses and inflatable obstacle courses, ensuring endless laughter and active play. Beyond the rides, the Fun Fair offers unique experiences such as riding the Circus Train, exploring police and fire vehicles up close, and engaging with the wonders of science and technology at this year's newest attraction, the STEM Fair. The STEM Fair will take place Saturday and will feature activity and demonstration booths, vehicles  and more.

Saint Martin's University Marcus Pavilion will transform into a hub of excitement with Kids' World where families will find booth's tailored for kids of all ages with free crafts, games and more.

And what would a fair be without great food? From cotton candy to eggrolls, there is a treat for all tastes at the Fun Fair with over 75 commercial, artisan and food vendors every year. Vendors come from all over and all artesian products are 75% created by the seller. All food and artesian items are individually priced by the vendor.

Get ready for an unforgettable experience at Fun Fair with not just one, but two stages hosting live entertainment throughout the weekend! Their fabulous and free entertainment stages are a major draw, offering an array of performances that cater to all tastes and ages. The LeMay Pavilion Stage is located inside Kids' World and the Main Stage is conveniently located outside near the food vendors.

Another not to miss part of the weekend will be the car show taking place May 19 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pre-register online to show off your ride, or register on site on Sunday. Visit https://laceyparks.org/funfair/ to register.

This area provides a tranquil environment with soft seating, low lighting, and visual aids designed to assist with sensory regulation. Open to visitors of all ages, the Sensory Recovery Area is beneficial for anyone who benefits from taking a moment away to recharge. It's the perfect space to find balance and then return refreshed to enjoy the event fully.
