Customer comments sparked improvements at the Olympic Dining Facility at McChord Field.

Staff adjusted operations at the Olympic Dining Facility and the Rainier Flight Kitchen, both located at Building 548, starting Jan. 14.

Breakfast times changed at the dining facility. The new hours for breakfast are 5:30-8 a.m.

The Rainier Flight Kitchen will begin serving hot meals 10 p.m. until midnight. They will also offer a Grab-n-Go menu, available 24-hours a day, seven days a week, in addition to the normal food services they provide.

"Really, it's just to better serve our airmen and soldiers," said Master Sgt. Kelly Gordon, Food Service Section chief.

Customer comments and responses to surveys helped guide managers to implement the changes. Kelly, from Rogers City, Michigan, said she's only been stationed at JBLM since October, but concentrated on implementing some suggested changes.

"It's exciting -- people requested different items and meal times. It's nice to be able to accommodate some of those requests," said Gordon.
