Hot, fresh and ready to go is a guarantee made by Little Caesar's Pizza and locally, Little Caesar's franchisee Sebastian Brost promises the added guarantee that all military personnel at Joint Base Lewis-McChord and Naval Base Kitsap will be supported by his 19 restaurants in Pierce, Thurston and Kitsap counties.

"The troops are the people that keep us safe day-in and day-out," Brost said. "We will do whatever we can to help them out."

Brost has been a Little Caesar's Pizza franchisee for a decade. He owns several locations within very close proximity to JBLM, including a Lakewood/Bridgeport operation at 10011 Bridgeport Way.

Throughout July, Brost's employees wear T-shirts that read, "We support our troops." During July, military personnel can enjoy a $3.99 large pepperoni pizza.

Every Monday is Military Monday. On this day, Brost said military personnel can enjoy a free Hot-and-Ready Crazy Combo with a purchase of $10 or more.

"We've chosen to support the military in quite a few avenues," Brost said. "We're a member of the Air Force Association, the Association of the United States Army, and the USO. We support the Warrior Transition Battalion, and we are a major sponsor of Operation RED. In addition, we've donated thousands of pizzas to JBLM for various events."

Brieanna Beck, who helps with community relations at the franchise, said she is actively involved in all the local military events Little Caesar's supports.

"I grew up in the area around JBLM and I have a great appreciation for what JBLM does in this community," Beck said. "This community is very rooted in the military."

In May, Beck said Little Caesar's for the fourth year helped coordinate the Recruitment Enlistment Dinner at St. Martin's University in Lacey, known as Operation RED. The event is sponsored by Little Caesar's, the AUSA and the Pierce Business Military Alliance. Brost's franchise is on the Boards of the AUSA and PBMA.

Operation RED is an annual program that aims to congratulate high school graduates on deciding to enter the military and serve their country.

"We want to make sure that those who are choosing to go into the Armed Forces have a sense of accomplishment," Beck said. "Operation RED is a great way to recognize all of them. All recruits in the South Sound are invited."

More than 700 recruits, recruiters and community members attended. Little Caesar's served more than 200 pizzas.

Beck said Little Caesar's also supported the military appreciation day for the 2-2 SBCT last May in Steilacoom Park, providing more than 1,000 pizzas.

"We had pizzas coming out of our ears," Beck said.

Coming up on Aug. 21, Little Caesar's will salute the 4th Airlift Squadron at McChord. On Aug. 8 and 22, the franchise will support military family events in Lacey and Bremerton, respectively.

Little Caesar's helps to deliver more than 800 turkeys to junior enlisted personnel at JBLM as part of Operation Turkey Drop in November and its Christmas event is Operation Ham Grenade, which does the same.

"It's really awesome," Beck said.
