Word around town was Rocky & Coco’s sports cool new threads. In true Weekly Volcano form, we had to check it out. This contemporary boutique carries a slew of awesome designers, including my beloved James Perse, the master of the cotton tee. So when I first entered Rocky & Coco’s, his classic pocket T-shirt was the first thing I noticed. Sure, $58 is a little steep, but at 40 percent off who can resist?

The teeny store tucked away on St. Helens Avenue brings a breath of fresh air to T-Town this season. Their new duds for spring left absolutely nothing to be desired, and I left wanting more, more, more. The bright colors and trippy prints come on everything from sexy tops to dresses and tunics, and made me pine for summertime.

A zebra printed top from Jully Kang ($70) coaxed me inside. The stunning color combo is hard not to notice even when driving by. It’s a neon yellow and dark blue, and long enough to wear with jeans or footless tights and flats for summer.

For the same price you can score another awesome piece from this designer, a sexy spaghetti strap dress with a print that makes your eyes water.

And nothing says summer’s coming like tie-dye, my absolute favorite. Made by Katz, this tank top in pink pastels ($108) has a sexy casualness to it. This smokin’ leather pleated jacket from Mike & Chris looks amazing over everything until the weather warms up. It’s only $411, down from $822.00.

What’s the best part? Most of Rocky & Coco’s cool new pieces are made of lightweight, incredibly soft cotton. No fancy schmancy knits that need to be dry cleaned.

The fellas can also stop by. Katie, the lovely brunette behind the counter, informed me that they’ll be getting three new styles of men’s jeans in this week.

Although they currently have a stellar sale going on, their “Super Sale” will start Feb. 28 and run through March 1, when tons of goods will be 50-75 percent off! And you won’t find a bunch of tired old rags from seasons past. I spotted an amazing gray baby doll dress printed with black swords on the sale rack. Reminded me of Peter Pan. If Wendy ever grew up, she totally would’ve donned this with some killer black maryjanes.
