Have you served in the military and looking for a way to connect with other service members without being broadcasted on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or other social media platforms?

TogetherWeServed.com (TWS) has you covered with their social platform specifically intended for veterans and family members.

Whether you are looking to engage with other veterans, find people you have served with or just want to remember your service with an online-organized scrapbook, the TWS platform is perfect for you!

According to their website, TWS contains comprehensive military records of military veterans posted by the veterans themselves including memories and photographs.

This online community honors and connects every American who has worn a United States military uniform.

Overall, TWS serves as another significant archive of military veteran service records.

Many older veterans and even present-day veterans are cautious and reluctant to share too much information on social media platforms such as Facebook or Instagram, so utilizing TWS' website is the perfect remedy to connect with fellow veterans without having to "sign up" for another social media platform.

In addition to its military records search capability, TWS is the largest online community of veterans existing today and is a powerful veteran locator. TWS enables veterans to find those they served with by matching their service information entered on their TWS Military Service Page with the service information of all other veterans in its membership. TWS members can then review matching members and connect with those they know.

With a total membership of more than 1.9 million veterans, TWS is increasing the possibility to find old service buddies and to view the histories of other veterans ranging from WWII all the way up to present day.

Using the TWS platform is as easy as entering your boot camp, units and/or duty stations, with their associated timeframes. This then opens up an extensive list of all other members that have served with you and whom are ready for you to make contact.

"Each story and profile here takes its rightful, permanent place in our collective consciousness," according to the TWS website. "In this new, virtual world, every time you log on, share a photograph, recall an experience, or find a comrade, you are contributing to what will be the most intriguing, comprehensive and expandable military archive available."

Another popular feature of TWS is their Roll of Honor. This feature is the perfect gift to every family member who has lost a loved one in service by allowing the user to create a personalized online memorial that they can contribute to and share with (audience of their choosing).

"More than 100,000 profiles of soldiers, Marines, sailors, airmen and coastguardsmen who died while serving in all major U.S. conflicts since WWII already exist here."

The TWS website launched in 2003 with a website solely intended for Marine Corps veterans. Since then it has expanded to five separate websites that now includes members from the U.S. Air Force, Army, Coast Guard and Navy.

The main vision of TWS is simple: "to create a unique place for all service members, run by service members, sharing real-life history IN THEIR OWN WORDS."

Do not wait any longer to share your service story and connect with old friends ... join the lasting legacy of the TWS community.
