ANNOUNCER: It is unclear how many pizza places have tried this location in Lakewood's Ponder's Corner, but Pizazz Pizza may have a legitimate run at longevity.  They have a large selection of pizza and non-pizza options, lots of money saving packages, and they deliver all over the greater area.

JAKE: Because there is no dine-in service, I opted for the convenient delivery service since I fall within the large delivery area of Lakewood, Tacoma, JBLM and Spanaway.  As long as you are not in a rush to eat, this is the way to go.  I live deep in Tacoma and they came to my door.

JASON: The take-out part works fine too.  I ordered and my meal was ready 20 minutes later.  There are no fancy anything about this place, but since you don't eat there, who cares what it looks like.

JAKE: Before diving into the pizza, I gave the stuffed pizza rolls a shot.  There are several options to choose from, all of which are made with in-house pizza dough, rolled around assorted toppings and brushed with garlic and butter before being baked crispy and golden brown.  The chicken, bacon and pepper jack is spicy and smoky and whether dipped in marinara or ranch is a tasty way to start your meal.

JASON: I liked the pizza rolls too, but don't think of those little things you get in the grocery store's frozen foods section.  These pizza rolls are the size of a Major League baseball.  I love the thick crust around the stuffing - they are easy to eat in the car on the way home to feed the troops, too.

JAKE: With several creative options on the specialty pizza menu, the Bacon Cheeseburger caught my eye.  Loaded, with ground beef, bacon, onions, tomatoes, and cheddar cheese, there is also the option of BBQ sauce instead of the traditional red sauce.  I prefer the BBQ option because it adds a sweet and tangy addition to the pizza.  It's become one of my favorite pizzas in town, however, it's important to note that it tastes nothing like a cheeseburger.

JASON: I went with the simple pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms.  The crust reminds me of Dominos generally with a nice marinara pizza sauce and decent amount of toppings.  This pizza won't win awards, however, it is familiar and certainly adequate.

JAKE: I concur.

JASON: I also ordered the meatball sub, which I liked the best overall. The hoagie-type bread was chewy (in a good way) with lots of meatballs and enough sauce to taste great but not so much it drips everywhere.

JAKE: I was surprised to find out a bigger draw than the pizza here is actually the brownies.  Also made in-house, these are huge, fudgy, and worth both the drive or wait for delivery.
