TACOMA CRAFT BEER FEESTIVAL

Saturday marks the 5th annual Tacoma Craft Beer Festival. More than 75 breweries will showcase their hop skills as well as a few craft ciders and regional wines from noon to 9 p.m. at Cheney Stadium (2502 S. Tyler, Tacoma).  From fresh and light hoppy to roasted full flavor, there will be a brew for everyone. Admission includes a 5.5-ounce commemorative taster cup, 10 tasting tokens accompanied by live entertainment. If 10 tastes simply won't do the trick additional tokens can be purchased for $1.50 a pop. Tickets are $36.50, $25 for active duty military.

CARS AND WINE

Fast cars and wine? Yes, please. From noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, the Mustang West Car Club hosts a Mustang show and tell accompanied by a fabulous craft wine tasting at Madsen Family Cellars (2825 Marvin Road NE, Olympia).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PACIFIC GRILL

Pacific Grill (1502 Pacific Ave., Tacoma) turns 8 this week. Celebrate this fine dining establishment's birthday from 4-7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9 with DJ Mr. Melanin, complimentary appetizers and sweets and a who's who in Tacoma. DINE OUT FOR NO KID HUNGRY

Help raise awareness and funds to conquer childhood starvation and malnutrition by eating out or making a pledge.
