JOINT BASE LEWIS-McCHORD - On Dec. 7, 2021, America's Credit Union (ACU) CEO, Ken Leonard, and the ACU Foundation Board presented $45,000 raised from this year's Turkey Shoot golf tournament to Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) nonprofit Santa's Castle, and the Association of the United States Army (AUSA). The event was also attended by staff and service members.
Funds will be used to support JBLM service members and their families during the holiday season. Santa's Castle will use the donation to purchases toys and books for military families during Christmas, and AUSA will be able to fund Operation Ham Grenade, which distributes holiday hams to service members. ACU has a long history of supporting these events, and others over the years, totaling over $600,000.
