Madigan announced vaccine appointments are open for patients 75 years of age and older at the American Lake Conference Center located on Lewis North, Tuesday.

This came after a message late last week that vaccine supply was out, and urged beneficiaries to wait for updated word.

"As we receive more vaccine, we will continue to vaccinate patients following the Department of Defense's phased priority list," according to a statement on the hospital's Facebook page. "The next group to be vaccinated will be patients aged 65 to 74 years followed by high-risk patients aged 16 to 64 years and then the general healthy patient population."

To make an appointment, call the Puget Sound Military Appointment Center at (800) 404-4506 or visit http://go.usa.gov/xAGfm to book an appointment online.
