The Racketeer's Association is in full celebration mode and then some.

They celebrated the opening of the TEAMhouse Special Operations Functional Fitness Facility in Lacey last Saturday.

Trust us, this is no ordinary gym.

The gym features the following: functional fitness,  a rock climbing wall, special racketeer apparel, a movie projector, PPV MMA events, loud music, custom screenprinting, Monster Energy and Muscle Milk and ...

Wait for it ...

There is a lounge, snack, and beer bar. That's right. We said beer (really).

Owned by Michael and Amanda Wilhelm, they wanted the gym to be special. The gym is designed to be not only just a place to work out in, but a place to hang out, relax and be with friends. This is particularly important for Servicemembers, something the Wilhelms know something about (Michael Wilhelm is active-duty in the Air Force at McChord Field).

The gym looks like this. Downstairs features a state of the art gym and upstairs is the lounge complete with leather recliners and the beer and snack bar.

As Amanda Wilhelm muses, "It's the ultimate man cave!"

Wilhelm continues, "We wanted the TEAMhouse to be not only a fun place to work out, but a great place to get a little downtime and just hang out."

There will also be military-themed apparel shop and protein/energy drinks available.

Prospective members are welcome to drop by and check out the facility including the beer bar, lounge and the apparel store. Three day trial passes will be available and memberships can be purchased at any time that day. The event is sponsored by G-Project (www.enterg-project.com), the Green Beret Foundation (http://greenberetfoundation.org), International Racket (www.internationalracket.com), TSAF (www.TSAFindustries.com) and TACP Association (www.USAFTACP.org).

Here are some of the things to expect:

The open gym will feature the following for an introductory workout:

 4 x Flat bench
 640 Lbs of Kettle-bells
 4 sets of Rogue Rings
 5 x Beater Bars
 2 x Matador Dip stations
130 Lbs of Dynamax medicine balls
