Everyone in the military knows what the phrase main gate means - it's the first and foremost entrance to an installation. So by naming a company Maingate Promos, the hope is to become the first stop for military.

"Coinforce has grown to the point to where we needed to start another company to specifically focus on custom and printed promotional products for military units, police departments and fire departments," explained Jordan Haines, owner of both Coinforce and Maingate Promos. So it made sense to start a new chapter of the business totally devoted this sector of the market."

Maingate will specialize in putting unit/squadron/brigade logos onto everything and anything, from glassware for a military ball to T-shirts for an FRG fundraising drive.

"Serving the military is in our DNA," he said, adding that a portion of all proceeds is purposefully filtered back to Servicemembers via donations, monetary support and on-base event sponsorship. "So we're thrilled to talk to them everyday and help them meet these needs."

Haines likes to state that Maingate Promos is truly veteran-owned and operated by patriots because both he and his wife, Donna, retired from the Air Force 12 years ago after spending more than of two decades in uniform. Technically, as Haines likes to point out, his wife served two years more than him because she returned out of retirement to the front lines following 9/11.

"We both volunteered to go back, but by the time we were called up I had started this business and needed to stay home and grow it," Haines said. "But Donna, she didn't hesitate to go back and serve."

Officially, Maingate is a sister company to Haines' Coinforce, and as such, returning customers can expect the same level of quality products and service that they've come to expect. Eventually, Maingate will target customers worldwide and maintain a virtual database with more than a million items, all of which can be imprinted and customized.

Folks can get a look at what is offered by visiting maingatepromos.com.

Maingate Promos is housed inside the CoinForce.com headquarters, located at 12525 Bridgeport Way SW in Lakewood, outside McChord Field's main gate. Call Christy Loe, (253) 682-2825 for more information.
