Pacific Automotive Service Center wants to serve the Joint Base Lewis-McChord community.

"They are very friendly to the military and civilian community," Capt. Arslan Chaudhry, commander, Bravo Company, 47th Combat Support Hospital (CSH), wrote in an email.

As a promotion to acquaint itself with the local area and the military, the newly opened Pacific Automotive distributed a free oil change coupon. A Soldier assigned to the 47thCSH picked up one of the coupons and showed it to Chaudhry.

It wasn't long before Chaudhry visited Pacific Automotive to check out the deal for himself. "They were very good, very professional, and they want to help the military," he continued.

Based on Chaudhry's experience, a relationship between the business and the 47th CSH soon formed.  Wanting to show its appreciation for what the 47th CSH does, Pacific Automotive adopted and now sponsors Bravo Company.

"Yes, Capt. Chaudhry came by to learn about what we offer the military," Arielle Richardson, Pacific Automotive's marketing director, explained during a telephone interview.

Chaudhry was impressed by the attitude of the employees and the service he received, and before long he made his feelings known. "Our Soldiers and family members have been going to Pacific Auto for free oil and wiper blade changes," Chaudhry continued.

In light of this, Bravo Company recently presented a certificate of appreciation to Pacific Automotive.

Along with the promotion, Pacific Automotive offers a discount to military members. "We are here to serve you and the military," Richardson said.
