Born in the galactic debris of a supernova over one year ago, Death By Stars have arrived in Tacoma, Washington, fully prepared to disintegrate social structure, global economies, and Earth itself. Their means? A highly combustible blend of electronica, punk, and psychedelia, torn from the soul of a single note and transmitted to sentient beings everyhere. If Link Wray, Wire, Daft Punk, and Of Montreal were sent to the Moon by Captain Beefheart in a lunar sexcraft, Death By Stars would play the launch party.

In May of 2010, former band mates Killer Bees (vocals/bass/guitar/samples) and Patrick Galactic (vocals/guitar/bass/keys) were conspiring to create a new project when they encountered Cherry Danger, a visual artist, keyboardist and beat-maker. The artistic and personal chemistry was apparent immediately and the three spent the next half year writing and recording.

Utilizing Danger’s experience as a visual artist, Death By Stars’ surreal live shows have turned many heads already. Evoking both the modern pop sensibilities of Andy Warhol and the dark, Kesey-ian psychedelia of the late 60’s, Death By Stars continue to carve a unique path to success.
