Blood To Dust is a band that has been in the making for the last 12 years. Tim and Swampy are formerly of the band Zealot, out of Centralia WA. After the break up of Zealot, Swampy left the state and Tim started writing music with Rodney. Over the next 10 years they were looking for a drummer and a bass player. During that time they couldn't find anyone to step into the rolls. Then suddenly Derek showed up, being the best drummer we had ever ran into. So they contacted Swampy and had him move back from across the country. Over the next year and a half they did nothing but practice. Then they started playing some local shows. Then they were ready to take the next step into the bigger market.
On January 3rd 2010 Blood To Dust won a Battle of the Bands Contest at Studio Seven in Seattle WA. Shortly after they opened for Grindcore legends Brutal Truth. Then they were tabbed the headline band for the April 18th Slave To The Metal Festival. A few months later they were invited into the No Bullshit Battle of the Bands at Hells Kitchen. Which they won with a landslide on July 29th 2010. Their debut album is expected out Mid October 2010
