In July of 2012 the Tacoma based band A Leaf releases their first full length LP.

With their timeless style and subtle swagger A Leaf has been labeled indie rock, melodic and ethereal. Founding member Shannon Donahue describes it as “Expanding the parameters of modern folk psychedelia,”. But at their core is educated guitar playing, textbook accurate harmonies, engaging lyrics and an undying dedication to the Beatles and T-Rex.

Daley and Donahue, often mistaken for brothers, began writing music together a while back. They planted some glam-rock/punk roots along with Bridges in a band that was insanely rad when you were 16, The Geeks. They then evolved, matured, some got fancy music degrees, added long-time pal and Los Angeles transplant, Demuth and became A Leaf circa 2010. In addition to being the type of people that are so kind it hurts, A Leaf creates music with a vibe that you won’t know you wanted to dwell in eternally until you hear it and feel it.
