Seattle, a city renowned for its vibrant culture and captivating landscapes, has become even more enchanting this holiday season. In its inaugural year the city welcomed its first ever Christmas market, resembling the beloved German Christmas markets found in Europe during the holiday season. Amidst the brisk winter air and the bustling energy, the Seattle Christmas Market emerges as a hub of festive cheer, inviting locals and visitors alike to revel in the joyous spirit of the holidays.

Located at the Seattle Center South Fountain Lawn and Fisher Pavilion between Climate Pledge Arena and the Seattle Center Armory, visitors can find the market. A host of small shop vendors make it the perfect spot to find a unique gift. Adore Alma features a wide range of accessories, Das Bbq Haus features premium barbecue sauces, El Sol Woolen Shoppe has hand crafted textile specializing in delightfully soft wearables. Seasonal paper products, polish pottery, honey, a little paws shop and so many more vendors welcome visitors.

Shops brimming with delicious goodies are also in the market. Freeze dried candy will give you the opportunity to try freeze dried skittles and more. Junebug Ferments features handcrafted sauerkrauts, beets kvass, Bavarian style kraut mustard and more. Fidalgo Fudge Co has handcrafted, small-batch artisan fresh fudge for any occasion. And don't miss stopping by Chocoidea which features high-quality chocolate gift items that are made 100% by hand. This chocolate is especially unique because the options for how the chocolate is shaped is endless. Egg shaped, shoes, pretzels, tools, all made of 100% chocolate.

One of the best parts about the market are the food vendors serving up hot and delicious food. A personal favorite is the Raclette Cheese House, which features hot melty Raclette Cheese melted right before your eyes. The cheese is then poured over a delicious baguette filled with a rich Dijon and your selection of meats. Das Schnitzel Haus features the beloved meat cutlets,  A French Creperie will delight your taste buds, savory hand pies, soft pretzels, bratwurst and so much more!

Plus a beloved tradition of Christmas markets is grabbing a pippin hot cup of mulled wine. Hot cocoa and apple cider are also available to warm you up as you stroll. Plus guests will have the opportunity to purchase a Seattle Christmas Market souvenir cup for $10.

Visitors will have the opportunity to ride the Christmas Carousel as many times as desired, plus a scavenger hunt in the market will keep the kids entertained. Plus, be sure to bring a letter to drop off at the Nordstrom Letters to Santa mailbox. Light displays throughout the market including the walk through Christmas tree provide the perfect seasonal photo backdrops. A lively lineup of festive entertainment can be found at the Christmas Pyramid which is the focal point of the market.

Also a huge indoor room with Christmas trees and tables provide a warm and cozy place to eat delicious food, plus catch other entertainment opportunities such as Christmas Trivia on various days throughout the season.

Plan a visit on Dec. 20 and families can visit with St. Nikolaus from 4 to 9 p.m.

General Admission into the market is $19.99 for everybody six years old and older. Ticket costs includes unlimited rides on the carousel. The market will be open 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. until Dec. 23 and then 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 24. Guests can purchase tickets and select a particular time slot to visit online.
