Lakewood Holiday Parade of Lights and Tree Lighting, 4 p.m., Free
Starting at 4 p.m. at City Hall, there will be food trucks, carolers, circus activities hosted by Vuelta La Luna and more.
At 4:30 p.m. intricately decorated floats illuminated by lights, and walkers handing out treats will parade from Park Lodge Elementary School down Gravelly Lake Drive to Main Street into Lakewood Towne Center. People are encouraged to line the parade route to cheer on their friends and neighbors.
Then, at approximately 5:30 p.m., as the last parade float makes its way to City Hall, the Lakewood City Council will ask the crowd to help with the annual countdown to the lighting of the city Christmas tree.
