After a nearly two-year break, Tacoma Restaurant Week is back and more delicious than ever! Tacoma's top restaurants join us this spring, April 24-28 and May 1-5 for two delicious weeks of dining under a new pricing structure. While the traditional two-course lunch (sometimes three-course) and three-course dinner remains the same, the price point now varies by restaurant. This removes the one size fits all restaurant mentality and ensures that all restaurants can still participate and offer their most quality dishes at a discounted price. Trust us, this is still the best darn dining deal to hit the town all year.

We're excited for long time favorites to join delicious newcomers this spring. New to the promotion is Adriatic at Oakbrook, Black Bear Diner (Lakewood), Copper & Salt Northwest, Crudo & Cotto and Stanford's Steak. And all your long-time favorites such as Alma Mater, Asado, Bar Bistro, El Gaucho, Marzano Italian Restaurant, Table 47 at Ocean Five, Social Bar and Grill and WildFin American Grill are back with equally, if not more delicious, menu items to indulge in.

We know that during these two weeks it can be difficult to choose which restaurants to dine at - we struggle too - and oftentimes we make more reservations than we care to admit. But to help you just a bit, we've scoured the menus for a variety of dishes that just might help make your decision a little easier.

For a good lunch option check out WildFin American Grill on the Ruston Way waterfront. To start, order the Simply The Best Calamari served with sliced jalapeno and jalapeno lime aioli. Next up, the Parmesan Crusted Sole served with organic farro risotto, fried capers and a butter sauce. Dessert will be tricky because on one hand you have the donuts served with maple bourbon sauce, fried to order and dusted with cinnamon anise sugar, and on the other hand, there is their chocolate overload cake served with Tillamook vanilla ice cream and Ghirardelli chocolate sauce. We will let you make that difficult choice.

A couple of dinner menu items that have caught our eye are Asado's Pollo Frito Fettuccine, buttermilk marinated fried chicken with chorizo gravy alfredo. Table 47 at Ocean 5's Braised Short Rib, braised short rib, veal braisage served with cauliflower potato puree, roasted root vegetables and smoked blue cheese pudding- um yum!

Marzano Italian Restaurant's appetizer of bruleed Cyprus Grove Truffle Tremor cheese with charred green garlic, bay oil, and served on toasted baguette, makes it hard to not want to immediately book a reservation. And we must mention that not only does El Gaucho's entire menu look delicious, you can end it with a slice of their signature Key Lime Pie.

New restaurants will be continuously added, so to stay in the know of all participating restaurants visitwww.tacomarestaurantweek.com. Also, for the most delicious content, follow us on Instagram @tacomarestaurantweek.
