New medical service available to military adolescents in Steilacoom

Madigan Healthcare System is proud to announce the official opening of the Military Adolescent School Based Health Initiative (MASBHI) in partnership with the Steilacoom Historic School District No.1. Team members from the Division of Adolescent Medicine's patient-centered medical home at Madigan will conduct a teen clinic at Pioneer Middle School on Tuesdays and at Steilacoom High School on Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. throughout the 2012-2013 school year.

Team members will also offer three days of back to school pre-participation physical exams at Steilacoom High School on Aug. 14, 15, and 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. To make appointments please contact the Adolescent Medicine Clinic at 968-1980.

Representatives will also be available at Pioneer Day on Thursday and at Sentinel Day on Aug. 24 to distribute and collect consents and answer any questions you may have about the program.
