My boyfriend called to make a reservation and was told, by an employee named Dean, he didn't have to pay for his reservation but that he had to come in early. We arrived 5 minutes early to find that the lane we thought was reserved for us, was given to a family of 4. The girl behind the counter, who was rude from the begining, told us we had to share lane 20 we the family of 4, we paid $52 and we were given out shoes and wrist bands. It was crouded with all of us at one lane, and the other family said one of their children was autistic and having us there would upset him. The girl them moved us to lane 19 where there was a guy in his early 20's playing alone. She tells the guy what's going on, I don't know what he said but she suddenly told us that she was going to find us another lane and disappeared, leaving us sitting there, bowling shoes on and all. She came back twice to talk to the guy on lane 19 without acknowledging us at all. By now my son is crying and I'm trying to calm him down. I was completely embarrassed. Dean came over to talk to us, my boyfriend asked him why he had said over the phone that we had a reservation if we really didn't and the guy denied he ever said that. My boyfriend asked if there was a supervisor and Dean said there was not. My boyfriend went to the counter to ask the girl if there was a supervisor and she pointed at an older guy who, when asked, said he was not a supervisor. My boyfriend was getting upset. I was mortified. I got the kids and left lane 19. We took our shoes off and returned them. The older guy stuck up for Dean. No one offered an apology but they were very quick to refun us our money. Then the older guy insisted on cutting our wrist bands before we left, as if we had not been humiliated enough. If you decide to go there, regardless what they say on the phone, make sure you pay for your reservation on the phone. If you don't make a reservation, arrive super early to get a lane but you might have to share your lane with a total stranger. I hope to God I never have to go to this place again. Whatever happened to good customer service, admitting mistakes, apologizing and rectifying mistakes. I'm sorry but the employees at this bowing alley are horrible, rude and argumentative. I don't recommend this place to anyone.
