Harbor Lights on Ruston Way has a delicious seafood menu, a gorgeous view, stiff drinks and loads of really old people who drink there. Every time I belly up to the bar, it feels like many of the other patrons could have been holding down their seat since the establishment opened in 1959. Harbor Lights is a prime location for the older folks for many reasons, one being they can speed walk down the strip in their jogging suits immediately after having a few. Oh, and three words: Early. Bird. Menu.

Also worth noting? Knapp's on 26th and Proctor in Tacoma. I started to notice when looking for bars where really old people drink that said bars seem to always serve wicked strong drinks. Coincidence? I think not. Not only is Knapp's prime picking for stiff drinks and old folks, it's home to some of the very best hangover food known to man, featuring the likes of S.O.S. over biscuits and chicken fried steak. Home cooking at its best, just add gravy.
