Wish Necklaces at Compass Rose

By Nikki Talotta on July 28, 2012

Have you heard of wish necklaces? A friend of mine recently gifted me with a beautiful wish necklace. With delicate tobacco silk thread and dainty little dragonfly charm, the necklace was delivered on a card that has a mushy love note of friendship.

It’s the cutest thing ever.

The idea is the wearer makes a wish when putting the necklace on and when the thread breaks and the charm drops, the wish is ready to come true.

Compass Rose in Olympia sells the darling necklaces and will even gift wrap them for you. They have about 15 different options of charms like four-leaf clovers, peace signs and sand dollars. They run $26 - $30 depending on if the charm is silver or gold. Or check ‘em out at www.dogeared.com.
